Embark on an exciting 4-day, 3-night adventure in the Tambopata National Reserve, exploring the Amazon rainforest. During this trip, you will discover exotic species of plants and animals, navigate by canoe and kayak, and immerse yourself in the beauty of this lush landscape, transporting you on a journey into the past.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Your journey begins with a transfer to the airport, and you will feel the excitement as you are driven to your hotel on the banks of the Tambopata River, 4.5 kilometers from the city. After a brief orientation, you will begin your walk through the jungle. Keep your eyes open for monkeys, birds, butterflies and other species as you learn about the importance of the area to local residents.

Day 2: Take a 3 km hike to Sandoval Lake, located in the Tambopata National Reserve. We will canoe around the lake, learning about the ecosystem. If you are lucky, you will see monkeys, squirrels, lizards, black caimans, birds, giant otters and possibly one of the largest aquatic fish, the Paiche fish. We will explore the jungle at night in search of tarantulas, frogs and chirping insects.

Day 3: We will visit Monkey Island, where you will feel an adrenaline rush as you walk across the high canopy bridges and zip lines. Kayak down the river and climb walls.

Day 4: We will admire the beautiful Yacumama Lake, where you will almost certainly catch piranhas and observe macaws and storks.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
