Our six day Parque Manu Peru Tour, led by an English speaking local tour guide, you will be getting a deeper insight into life in the pristine areas of the Amazon Rainforest.
Day 1 starts with an early morning pickup in Cusco and a drive to Nincamarca, known for its ancient Lupaca civilization tombs, followed by a visit to the traditional town of Paucartambo and the Tres Cruces viewpoint. The day concludes with a descent to the Manu Cloud Forest and arrival at a jungle lodge.
Day 2 includes an Amazonian breakfast, a bus ride to Atalaya, and a boat ride on the Alto Madre de Dios river, offering wildlife spotting opportunities. The day ends at an Amazon jungle lodge in the Cultural Zone.
Day 3 begins with an early visit to the Macaw Clay Lick, a boat ride on the Madre de Dios river for wildlife viewing, and arrival at Casa Matsiguenka Lodge in the Manu Biosphere Reserve.
Day 4 involves exploring the Manu Biosphere Reserve, including a walk in the rainforest and a catamaran trip on Salvador and Otorongo Lake, followed by a return to Matsiguenka Lodge.
Day 5 starts with a boat ride from Casa Matsiguenka Lodge to Boca Manu, including a visit to the Diamante Native Community and arrival at Dorado Lodge, culminating in a bonfire and barbecue.
Day 6 concludes the tour with a boat ride to Atalaya port and a drive back to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
