At 15:30, the adventure begins at our meeting point. A 20-minute motorised vehicle ride on the road will take us to the entry point. A short 7-minute walk will take us to the shore of the lake, where a canoe awaits us. We will navigate the calm waters of the lake, the former bed of the Madre de Dios River, surrounded by lush vegetation and lined with aguajal palm trees, home even to majestic macaws that come to rest. With respect for the natural balance, we will have the opportunity to fish for piranhas and return them to the water after the experience. Afterwards, we will witness one of the most sublime sunsets, enjoying the panoramic views offered by the lush vegetation surrounding the lake. Finally, we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado, arriving around 6:30 pm.
