We continue our journey to the viewpoint of Tres Cruces, and then descend to the village of Bosques Nublados, where we can observe the cock of the rock and other species of fauna such as monkeys and trogons. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Pilcopata Lodge, where we spend the night in comfortable facilities.

We start the day with a morning walk in the surroundings, observing birds and small monkeys. After breakfast, we head to Atalaya to board a boat and navigate the river for 20 minutes. We visit the Cocha Machuhuasi, a lagoon where we can see birds, capybaras and monkeys. In the afternoon, we arrive at Manu Lodge, have lunch and rest before exploring the jungle further on an afternoon hike. We end the day with a night walk to observe spiders, frogs and other nocturnal creatures, as well as climb an observation tower to see birds.

It is also possible to spot jaguars or pumas in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, we visit a nearby lake to observe caimans and other aquatic species. Weather permitting, we also visit the Parrot Clay Lick, a place where large groups of parrots and macaws are concentrated. We return to the lodge for a last wildlife observation at Cocha Machuhuasi.
