From Cusco: Manu Madre de Dios National Park Peru 7 Days

On this seven-day tour of the cloud forests and lowland rainforest with our expert English-speaking local naturalist guide, you'll gain a deeper insight into the flora and fauna of the region.
Day 1:

At 04:00 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco.
Our first stop will be in Paucartambo.
After breakfast, we will continue driving to a viewpoint called Tres Cruces. From here you will get a panoramic view of the Amazon basin.
Then we will drive downhill from the Andes to the Amazon, to the Manu Peru Reserve.
Here you will board the motor board for your tour of the Madre de Dios River. It will be a two and a half hour drive to Manu Wildlife Lodge.

Day 2:

We will leave Manu Wildlife Lodge quite early in the morning.
The boat ride provides the opportunity to observe different species of birds and animals. Here you can easily observe capybaras, peccaries, giant armadillos and different species of monkeys and birds.
Matsiguenka is a native community. The shelter is part of the community.
So after savoring a typical Amazonian lunch, we will embark on a short walk along one of the trails.

Day 3:

After breakfast, we will embark on a Catamaran ride to visit Cocha Salvador.
Here we will walk to the top of a 20 meter high watchtower.
After witnessing the sunset in the Peruvian Amazon, we will return to the Casa Matsiguenka lodge for dinner.

Day 4:

We will leave Casa Matsiguenka.
After a brief stop at the Manu National Park checkpoint.
In the afternoon we will go to see the mammal clay lick.

Day 5:

Then we will head in motorized voting
We will walk an exclusive trail to see more wildlife.
We remind you that don't forget to bring a swimsuit for this adventure, don't miss it.

Day 6:

At dawn, we will leave Treehouse INN to see the unmissable Macaw Clay Lick.
After lunch, you can simply relax or soak in the cool waters of the Palotoa River. You can also go tubing here.

Day 7:

After breakfast, we will take the boat back to the port of Atalaya. Here we will meet our driver for our return trip to the city of Cusco.
