Day 1: Journey to the Heart of Manu
Begin your adventure with a 4:00 am departure from Cusco, stopping for an Andean breakfast in Paucartambo. Ascend to Acjanaco for a spectacular sunrise before descending into the cloud forest to spot the cock of the rock. Continue to the Amazon Basin, have lunch at Atalaya port, and travel by boat to TREEHOUSE INN, arriving by 5:00 pm.
Day 2: Deep Dive into Manu's Biodiversity
Wake up at 5:00 am for an early boat ride with breakfast onboard, traveling downstream to the Manu River. After passing the control point into the reserved zone, explore Cocha Otorongo and its observational tower. Arrive at CASA MATSIGUENKA by mid-afternoon for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring Salvador Lake and Jungle Mysteries
Start early to visit Salvador Lake on catamaran boats, looking for river otters and caimans. Return to CASA MATSIGUENKA for lunch, then explore the jungle in the afternoon to spot monkeys and learn about medicinal plants. Enjoy a night walk to spot nocturnal creatures after dinner.
Day 4: Jaguar Spotting
Begin early for a four-hour jaguar spotting excursion along the riverbanks, also encountering tapirs, turtles, and caimans. Exit the reserved zone and return to TREEHOUSE INN, arriving before dinner. After dinner, embark on a night walk in a private reserve to see bats, snakes, and other nocturnal wildlife.
Day 5: Parrot Clay Licks and River Adventures
Visit the parrot clay licks at sunrise, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Take a three-hour guided walk to spot more flora and fauna, then return for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy river tubing on the Palotoa River. Conclude with dinner and a final night walk.
Day 6: Journey Back to Cusco
After breakfast, take a long boat ride back to Atalaya Port, enjoying the surrounding nature. Drive back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm for a final hotel transfer.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
