| 4 Days excursion to Tambopata with ayahuasca ceremony

We will tour the jungle landscapes on this 4-day excursion to Tambopata, and you will enjoy the experience of a typical Ayashuasca ceremony.
Itinerary DAY 1 Welcome to Puerto Maldonado! After picking you up at the airport, we will travel to the river port of this Peruvian city and board a canoe to go to the Tambopata National Reserve lodge. This first night you will only drink a light broth, vegetable soup or water, since your stomach must be prepared for the ayahuasca ceremony, which will begin around 8:00 p.m. During the rite, a native shaman will officiate the ceremony, helping us understand the main concepts of Andean cosmology. In addition, we will taste the famous ayahuasca brew, which is made with medicinal plants from the area. We will learn the esoteric mysteries of this ancient drink! Day 2 This day will begin with a light walk through the jungle, where we will learn about the main medicinal plants and their uses by the native communities. In the afternoon, we will go up to a viewpoint from where we will observe the immensity of the jungle and look for birds such as eagles and macaws. When the sun sets, we will take a night walk to look for insects or other animals that can only be seen at night. Third day On the third day we will have an early breakfast and depart for the Cocococha Lagoon, where we will take a five and a half kilometer walk to observe its flora and fauna. We will look for the elusive giant otters of Tambopata, and we will observe the shanshos, a species of exotic bird. We will return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon we will visit Laguna Chica, where we will admire the surroundings until sunset. You can take advantage of the evening lights to take some fantastic photos before returning to the hostel. Day 4 After breakfast, we will sail to the Puerto Maldonado pier. From this pier we will take you to the airport in plenty of time. Accommodation and meals This trip includes 3 nights of accommodation in a hostel in Tambopata. Accommodation is on a full board basis, so all breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included (except on the day of the ayahuasca ceremony, when you will not be able to eat anything).

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
