Day 1: Pacaya Samiria

We will start the day by picking you up at your hotel in Iquitos.
Drive to Nauta: We will head to the charming town of Nauta, gateway to the Amazon rainforest.
We will meet you at the picturesque pier, ready to begin our expedition.
We will embark on an exciting journey down the mighty Marañon River, where we will witness the majesty of the source of the Amazon River at the point where it joins the Ucayas River.
Ucayali River, known as Ucamara.
Dolphin Encounter: We will marvel at the beauty of the gray and pink dolphins as we navigate the waters of the Amazon.
Immerse yourself in the refreshing waters of the Yarapa River, also known as the black water river, and feel the unique energy of the Amazon rainforest.
Typical lunch on board: We will enjoy a delicious typical lunch prepared with fresh ingredients from the region, while navigating through the breathtaking Amazonian landscapes.
We will witness wildlife in its natural habitat, observing playful monkeys and exotic birds among the lush vegetation.
Piranha fishing: Put yourself to the test by fishing for piranhas and other species native to the Amazon!
Contemplate the grandeur of nature while admiring the majestic giant trees that dominate the Amazon landscape.
Return and end of the excursion: With your heart full of memories and unforgettable experiences, we will return to the pier and take you back to your hotel.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
