Tamshiyacu Reserve – 5 Days and 4 Nights

With this Tour you get to know the Peruvian Jungle, in this reserve there are exotic animals and plants that you will not find anywhere else in the world. You will do trekking, camping and more.
Start of the Tour and first contact with the Jungle
Day 1
9:15 a.m.: Pick up from the meeting point.
9:45 a.m.: Land transfer to the port of Nanay to begin the adventure.
10:00 a.m.: Next we will navigate the Amazon River and learn about its history until we reach the Logde.
1:00 a.m.: Arrival at Logde where we will be welcomed with drinks with local fruits and the respective Bungalow layout.
1:30 a.m.: Lunch time.
2:00 a.m.: First contact with the wild jungle with a 2 to 3 hour walk, learning about medicinal plants, rubber trees and looking for animals such as monkeys, sloths, birds and others.
7:00 p.m. Dinner time.
7:45 p.m.: We will finish with a night boat excursion in search of alligators, capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), frogs, nocturnal birds, tarantulas, anacondas and more.

Dolphin Search and Piranha Fishing
Day 2
6:00 am. Early morning boat exploration for bird watching.
7:30 a.m.: Breakfast on board.
8:00 a.m.: Fishing for piranhas, acarahuazú, sardines, catfish and others.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
1:35 p.m.: We will continue with the boat excursion exploring lakes, observing giant water lilies (Victoria Amazonica) and dolphins (pink and gray), you will be able to swim near them (optional), and you will have the opportunity to observe the beautiful Amazonian sunset. .
7:00 p.m.: Dinner.
7:35 p.m.: We will end the day with a walk in the jungle to look for nocturnal animals such as tarantulas, toads, frogs, snakes, rodents, monkeys and others.

Expedition in the Amazon
Day 3
8:00 am. We will start with breakfast.
8:30 a.m.: Boat exploration and jungle walk to look for prehistoric hoazin (Shansho) birds, monkeys and reptiles.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
1:40 p.m.: Exploration by boat or on foot. Learn about how to survive in the jungle, know material elements to make a shelter, vines to obtain water and food to eat.
7:00 p.m. We will finish with dinner, and you will have the night free.

Outdoor Experience
Day 4
8:00 am. We will start with breakfast.
Boat excursion we head to explore Lake Yarina in the primary jungle in search of anacondas, monkeys, other varieties of birds and mammals.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch outdoors. (Optional) fishing for piranhas, acarahuazú, sardines, pacú, among others.
7:00 p.m. Dinner time. Night excursion to be chosen by the passenger in coordination with his guide.

Last expedition in the jungle
Day 5
8:00 am. We will start with Breakfast.
8:30 a.m.: Boat exploration and hike in the primary rainforest in search of birds, monkeys, sloths and more wildlife.
11:30 a.m.: Visit the town of San Juan or Ayacucho and have the opportunity to purchase handicrafts. We will talk about what we did in the 4 days in the jungle (summary).
1:00 pm. Lunch.
1:30 or 2:00 p.m. Return to Iquitos.
4:00 p.m. We end with our adventure in the jungle of Iquitos.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
