Embark on a four-day journey through the Iquitos jungle to explore the rich diversity of wildlife and immerse yourself in the traditions of the local indigenous communities.

DAY 1:
We will begin our adventure with pick-up at the hotel near the Main Square of Iquitos at 9:30 am. From there, we will go by boat to enter the Amazon River, where we will witness the confluence with the Nanay River.
Visit to Fundo Don Pedrito, where you will have the opportunity to see various species such as lizards, paiches, piranhas, among others.
Afterwards, we will head to the lodge to enjoy a typical lunch, followed by a walk through the jungle to a local community, where you will learn about their customs and activities. Return to the lodge for dinner and an exciting night walk in search of nocturnal jungle wildlife.
DAY 2:
Breakfast and trip to Neyser Island, where you will have the opportunity to observe monkeys in the wild, such as friars, huapos, and maquisapas. Then, we will visit the village of San Juan de Huashlado to visit the rescue center, where you can see the famous anaconda, toucans, sloths, among others.
We will continue with a tasting of aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a boat ride for sport fishing and contemplate the breathtaking sunset. Dinner and evening of stories and myths of the jungle.
DAY 3:
Early departure at 8:00 a.m. in small boats to the Yana Yacu River, where we will spend the day exploring the jungle and spotting monkeys, birds and the exuberant nature that surrounds us. We will have lunch in the open air at a farmer's house and, if we are lucky, we may spot dolphins.
Return to the lodge and overnight.
DAY 4:
Wake up early at 4:00 a.m. to witness a beautiful Amazonian sunrise and listen to the birds singing. We will visit the community of Sinchicuy, home of the Yagua Indians, where we will learn about their culture. You will have the opportunity to bathe in the river and experience the healing mud bath. Return to the lodge for lunch and preparations for the return to the city of Iquitos.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
