Iquitos: Amazon 4 days | Nanay River, Monkeys

DAY 1:
- We will start our adventure by picking you up at the hotel near the Plaza de Armas at 9:30 a.m. and we will embark on a journey through the Amazon River, where we will see the confluence with the Nanay River.
- We will visit Fundo Don Pedrito to observe species such as lizards, paiches and piranhas, among others.
- Upon arrival at the lodge, we will enjoy a typical lunch and then hike through the jungle to a local community to learn about their customs and activities. We will return to the lodge for dinner and, later, we will go on a night walk in search of jungle fauna.

DAY 2:
- After breakfast, we will travel to Neyser Island to observe monkeys such as friars and huapos maquisapas in the wild. Then we will visit the village of San Juan de Huashlado and its rescue center, where we will see an anaconda and other species such as toucans and sloths.
- We will taste aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks before returning to the lodge for a delicious lunch.
- In the afternoon, we will enjoy a boat ride to practice sport fishing and admire the sunset, ending the day with dinner and stories and myths of the jungle.

DAY 3:
- At 8:00 a.m., we will depart in small boats to the Yana Yacu River to spend the day exploring the jungle, where we will see monkeys, birds and exuberant nature. There is the possibility of spotting dolphins.
- We will have lunch in the open air at a farmer's house before returning to the lodge to rest.

DAY 4:
- We will wake up early, at 4:00 a.m., to enjoy the Amazonian sunrise and the birds singing.
- We will visit the community of Sinchicuy, inhabited by the Yagua Indians, and learn about their culture. You can bathe in the river or try the curative mud bath on its banks.
- We will return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for our return to the city of Iquitos.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
