Iquitos Jungle 3D |Boat + Piranha Fishing + Night Excursion|

We will explore the Iquitos jungle for three days, discovering the secrets of medicinal plants, fishing for piranhas and tracking caimans, with the promise of a breathtaking sunrise.

DAY 1:
We will start our trip from your hotel near the Main Square of Iquitos at 9:30 am. Then, we will enter the Amazon River by boat, contemplating the confluence with the Nanay River. We will visit the Fundo Don Pedrito, where you will be able to spot various species such as lizards, paiches and piranhas. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will enjoy a typical lunch, followed by a walk through the jungle to a local community to learn about their customs. In the evening, we will venture out on a night walk in search of jungle fauna.

DAY 2:
After breakfast, we will head to Neyser Island to observe monkeys in their natural habitat. Then, we will visit the rescue center in the village of San Juan de Huashlado, where you can admire the anaconda and other species such as toucans and sloths. We will taste aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will go by boat to fish and enjoy the sunset. The day will culminate with stories and myths of the jungle.

DAY 3:
You will have the option to wake up early to watch the sunrise and listen to the birds singing. After breakfast, we will head to the community of Sinchicuy, home of the Yagua Indians, to learn about their traditions. Then, we will go in search of river dolphins, with the possibility of swimming in the Amazon. Finally, we will return to the lodge for lunch and return to Iquitos.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
