Iquitos awaits you for an incredible adventure. Discover the flora and fauna of the jungle, learn about the local culture and enjoy the wonderful landscapes.
Pick up at the coordinated point
NANAY. Transfer to the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, during the tour you will be given a brief orientation through the city of Iquitos, observing the main tourist places of this thriving and historic city in eastern Peru that in the 19th century went from being a small town to the most important river port in the Amazon.
Arrival at the Bellavista Nanay Tourist Pier, where we will take a tour of approximately 10 to 15 minutes, before boarding the boat and learning a little about the gastronomy of the jungle, here we will be able to appreciate the typical dishes of the area and taste them if you wish. Then we begin the navigation along the largest river in the world and one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, the Amazon River, aboard comfortable and safe typical boats. The trip along the Amazon River will allow you to appreciate a wonderful panorama in which the magnificence of the river makes its way through the exuberance of the jungle, travel time approx. 1:30 hrs.
GRAY OR PINK DOLPHINS WATCHING DURING THE JOURNEY
KUKAMA TRIBE We will visit and dance with them, as they have been guardians of the biodiversity of the region, using their deep knowledge of plants and natural medicine to survive in this challenging environment. In addition, their rich oral tradition has transmitted stories and myths where they explain their origin and their relationship with nature.
NEYSER ISLAND. Continuing our navigation through the Amazon, we will enter a ravine to visit the monkeys in their natural habitat, upon arrival we will be greeted by the different species of monkeys that live in this place where we can learn from each one of them, feed them, play and take photos with them... and in their natural habitat!!!
Continuing the navigation, we will go to our lodge.
FUNDO RONY. We will head towards this Wildlife Rescue Center, where
we will be able to observe and interact with some of the varieties of wild animals,
such as the sloth bear, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors and turtles. It will be an interesting way to learn to value and respect the typical wildlife of our Amazon.
AMAZONIAN TRAPICHE. Tasting of artisanal macerations such as camu camu, the 7 roots and ginger, which provide an opportunity to take advantage of their medicinal properties.
CAPINURI LODGE. We will arrive at the lodge where there will be a short explanation about the rules that govern the sustainability of the lodge and its environment.
Typical self-service LUNCH (if you are vegetarian, please inform in advance).
At an appropriate time, we will take our boat to go to Iquitos.

When should I book?

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
