From Iquitos: Full Day Tour on the Amazon River

In this expedition through the Amazon, we will immerse ourselves in the largest and most abundant river on the planet aboard a boat.
After picking you up at your hotel, we will head to the jungle of Iquitos, where we will board a boat to explore the majestic Amazon River. We will begin a fascinating excursion guided by an expert in the region. We will experience up close the warm temperature of the Amazon throughout the year.

During the tour, we will admire the exuberant jungle vegetation that dominates the Peruvian territory, including the imposing floating victoria regia, the largest leaves in the world.
If we are lucky, we may spot local fauna such as the lion titi monkey, the sloth, the poison dart frog and the black caiman. We will visit a serpentarium to see the anaconda and other snakes up close in their natural habitat. Animal lovers will enjoy this safe and educational experience.
Before leaving, we will taste local liquors made from tree bark and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, we will meet the Yahua indigenous community, who will share their culture through traditional dances and rituals. We will finish the day observing the Amazon dolphins before returning to your hotel in Iquitos.
