Embark on a fascinating 4-day expedition through the Iquitos jungle, where you will explore the lush biodiversity and delve into the cultures and traditions of the local indigenous communities.

DAY 1:
• We will begin our adventure with pick-up at the hotel near the Plaza de Armas at 9:30 am. From there, we will navigate by boat on the Amazon River and enjoy the confluence with the Nanay River.
• We will visit the Fundo Don Pedrito, where you can observe various species such as lizards, paiches and piranhas.
• Arrival at the lodge and traditional lunch.
• In the afternoon, we will hike through the jungle to an indigenous community, where you will learn about their customs and activities. Return to the lodge for dinner.
We will finish the day with a night walk in search of wildlife.
- DAY 2:
• Breakfast and trip to Neyser Island, home to monkeys such as friars and huapos maquisapas in the wild. Later, we will visit the hamlet of San Juan de Huashlado and its rescue center, where you can observe an anaconda and other species such as toucans and sloths.
• We will enjoy a tasting of aphrodisiac and medicinal drinks before returning to the lodge for a delicious lunch.
• In the afternoon, we will take a boat ride to practice sport fishing and watch the breathtaking sunset. We will return for dinner and listen to fascinating stories and myths of the jungle.
- DAY 3:
• At 8:00 a.m., we will depart in small boats to the Yana Yacu River, where we will explore the jungle throughout the day. You will have the opportunity to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, birds and exuberant nature.
• Possibility of spotting dolphins. We will have lunch outdoors in a farmer's house.
• Return to the lodge and overnight.
- DAY 4:
• You will wake up at 4:00 a.m. to enjoy an Amazonian sunrise and birdsong.
• We will visit the community of Sinchicuy, home of the Yagua Indians, and learn about their rich culture.
• You will have the opportunity to bathe in the longest river, and those who wish can experience a healing mud bath on the banks.
• We will return to the lodge for lunch and then prepare for our return to the city of Iquitos.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
