Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel in Iquitos to start this exciting excursion. We will head to the city's pier, where we will embark on a traditional Amazonian boat that will take us to explore the indigenous communities of the Amazon. This trip promises to be an unforgettable experience.

During our journey along the Itaya River, we will witness breathtaking views of the exuberant nature that surrounds us, entering the jungle landscape characteristic of this region of South America.

Arriving at the confluence of the Itaya and Amazon Rivers, we will continue our journey on the Nanay River. Here we will visit the Bora and Kukama communities, where we will get off the boat to interact with their members and learn about their fascinating customs and traditions.

Our journey will continue along the Amazon River, skirting the community of Padre Cocha. We will have the opportunity to stop at the Pílpintuwasi butterfly farm, a unique place to observe the diversity of butterflies and exotic animals of the jungle.

Finally, we will return to the pier in Iquitos after five hours of exploration, concluding our day full of discoveries and experiences in the Amazon rainforest.
