From Lima: Excursion to Sayán and Churín

Discover Sayán, famous for its alfajores, and enjoy guided tours of its main square, San Jerónimo Church, and José de San Martín's house.

We will pick you up at the agreed time at the meeting point of your choice in Lima and head north, specifically to Sayán.did you know that this town is famous for being the birthplace of the alfajor? In addition to telling you the history of this traditional sweet, we will enjoy a guided tour of Sayán that will include a visit to its main square, the church of San Jerónimo and the house of the liberator José de San Martín. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Churín and make a stop at the entrance of the town to visit the enigmatic Mamahuarmi grotto. We will discover the legend of the princess Shumac as we explore this magical place.in Churin we will visit a fish farm and have time for lunch on your own. Then, we will start a tour of Churin that will include its main square, the 16th century colonial church and the Mamahuarmi monument. We will conclude our excursion by visiting the thermal complex of Tingo, located near Churin. Its thermal waters, rich in sulfur, iron and lithium, are known for their healing properties for diseases such as rheumatism and arthritis, as well as for their purifying effect on the skin. You will have free time to relax in its natural pools and finally, we will return to Lima and leave you at the starting point at approximately 10:00 pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
