Full day excursion to Sayan and Churin

In this tour you will visit legendary caves, natural pools, the church of San Jeronimo and the house of the liberator Jose de San Martin. You will have an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary


Pick up at the indicated time at the meeting point in Lima and head north, the first place visited will be Sayán. Did you know that this town is known as the land of the alfajor, besides telling you the history of this tradition, we will have a guided tour of Sayán where we will visit the main square, the church of San Jerónimo and the house of the liberator José de San Martin, finishing the visit we will go to Churin, we will stop at the entrance of the town to access the enigmatic cave of Mamahuarmi. We will explore this magical place, where we will be told the legend of the princess Shumac. Once in Churin, we will go to a fish farm where we will have a break and then have lunch on your own. After replenishing our strength we will have a tour of Churin, we will visit its main square, the colonial church of the sixteenth century and the monument to Mamahuarmi. Afterwards you will have some free time to buy some souvenirs. We will conclude the tour visiting the thermal complex of Tingo, a few kilometers from Churin. You will enjoy its thermal waters with high content of sulfur, iron and lithium, ideal for treating diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis and to purify the skin. You will have free time to relax in the natural pools. Finally we will return to Lima and leave you at the starting point at approximately 22:00 hours.
