On this tour of Lima, we will explore the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, convents and other outstanding historical sites.
The excursion has two schedules: 9:00 am or 2:00 pm.
We will pick participants up at their hotel in Miraflores and head to the historic center of Lima to explore colonial monuments and buildings, such as the Paseo de la Republica, Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica and the Municipal Palace.
We will visit the Central Bank of Reserves to see its collection of gold, ceramics and textiles, and the Convent of San Francisco, with a focus on the Catacombs.
Note: The Museum of the Banco Central de Reservas is closed on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and all day on Mondays.
