Yelapa Escape

Explore Yelapa, a vibrant town nestled in the Sierra Madre Occidental. Discover its main waterfall and the chance to spot wildlife in this nature-filled haven.
We will meet in the morning in Zona Romantica to get to know each other and take a city bus to Boca de Tomatlan (30 minutes south), Boca is a small beach town where we will take our boat (Water taxi) to Yelapa.

Yelapa is a beautiful and colorful town away from the city, is only accessible by sea, we will travel by the sea for 40 min, if we are lucky we can see some marine life.

Upon arrival in Yelapa we will stroll the village to get a feel of it, with its picturesque streets, we will tell you its history and traditions, we'll visit the local Museum where we can see some arqueological pieces. We will visit the main waterfall in town and if you are a hiker we can hike up to "La Pilona" a small waterfall with a beautiful natural pool that is located on top of the main waterfall, here you can enjoy a fabulous panoramic view of Yelapa and cool off in its waters.

Then we will walk back through the village and cross the river to head to the beach, where we can take a break at one of the beach restaurants and eat lunch (availble for purcharse).

We will return by water taxi to Boca de Tomatlan to return by city bus to Puerto Vallarta

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
