Excursion to Ballestas Islands, Tambo Colorado-Laguna Morón

On the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, Tambo Colorado and Laguna Morón we will learn about the past of the Peruvian coast and visit places of great ecological importance. A very complete route!
ITINERARY
At 6:30 a.m. we will pick you up at the agreed meeting point in Ica, and from here we will travel by road to the El Chaco dock, in the bay of Paracas.

There a boat will be waiting for us to take us to the Ballestas Islands and take a panoramic tour of this archipelago, which is a refuge for many species of endemic fauna.

We will observe the colonies of sea lions and birds such as Humboldt penguins, terns, boobies, seagulls and pelicans. We will also pass by the emblematic Paracas Candelabra, a geoglyph drawn in the rock some 2,500 years ago whose meaning is a mystery.

On our way back to Paracas, we will get back on the bus to go to the archaeological site of Tambo Colorado. This is one of the most important Inca settlements on the Peruvian coast, and is made up of adobe buildings. We will take a tour of its three sectors, observing the remains of buildings such as La Fortaleza.

Next, we will leave for the Morón lagoon, located in the Humay district and known for its blue-green waters. Here we will leave you free time to take a swim, go sandboarding and eat in one of its restaurants.

Finally, we will return to Ica and finish the excursion between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

This activity is subject to the weather conditions at the time. If these do not allow the indicated itinerary, the White Islands and the Paracas National Reserve will be visited instead.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
