Experience the thrill of sandboarding or sand skiing in the Ica Desert! Glide down towering sand dunes while taking in the breathtaking scenery around you.
Let's embark on an adventure! We'll meet you at Huacachina Oasis at your chosen time and jump into the buggies that will take us into the heart of the Ica Desert. We'll traverse approximately 3 to 4 miles (5 to 7 kilometers) of desert until we reach our destination for sandboarding or sand skiing.
After arriving, we'll disembark and get outfitted with all the necessary gear for the activity. You'll have the option to choose between sandboarding or sand skiing. Before we begin, we'll review some safety rules that you'll need to follow.
Once we reach the top of the sand dunes, we'll strap on our skis or hop onto our sandboards and glide down the sandy slopes of the Ica Desert.
After mastering sandboarding or sand skiing, we'll hop back on the buggy. Following our 2-hour adventure, we'll say goodbye at the starting point in Huacachina.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
