On the way to Nazca, we will make a stop to see the “profile of the Inca” formation and then stop at the MIRADOR DE PALPA where you can see a group of figures such as “the Paracas Royal family”, the cutthroat, the eyed being among others.
Then we will continue to the María Reiche house museum, where we will find different items used by this mathematician during her research into the lines, you can also see ceramics and a mummy in excellent condition.
At the height of 423 km of the Panamericana, we will find the second viewpoint from where we can see geoglyphs: Las Manos, EL Arbol, La Lagartija, which was cut by the road and a trapezium.
In the city we visit a pottery workshop where he will give us details about how the men of this culture made their beautiful and colorful ceramics two thousand years ago. To finish our walk, we will visit the Gold Workshop, a place where miners usually work in very extreme conditions to extract this mineral from the rocks.
The technique they use dates back to colonial times, and involves the use of large mortars, a lot of water and mercury. Here there will be a miner/exhibitor who will very kindly explain the entire process involved in this work.
