Lima: Ballestas Islands, Nazca Lines, and Huacachina Tour

Explore the Ballestas Islands, fly over the famous Nasca and Palpa Lines 1h. 40 min. and visit the Huacachina Oasis on a day trip from Lima.
4:20 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel or Airbnb to head to Pisco Airport, located in Paracas (the trip takes about 3 hours).

We will proceed to Paracas where we will enter the Ballestas Islands. On the speedboats, we will explore the marvelous marine world for approximately two hours. We will start by stopping at the sand figure known as "The Candelabra," where the guide will explain the different theories about its purpose. We will continue sailing with the sea breeze until we reach the Islands and be surrounded by abundant marine life. Sea lions, Humboldt penguins, countless guano birds, and hopefully some curious dolphins await us. You won't want to put down your camera! We will then head to Pisco Airport in 20 minutes.

Would you like to fly over the famous Nasca and Palpa Lines? Upon arrival at Capitán FAP Renán Elías Olivera International Airport at the specified time, we will start an activity that will reveal the fascinating mysteries of Peru's most famous geoglyphs. We will board a small plane and take a flight over the Nasca Lines. During the flight, we will admire from the windows the 19 most important geoglyphs in the area, including the whale, the astronaut, the monkey, the hummingbird, the spider, the spiral, or the condor.

Moreover, throughout the flight, the pilot will share some of the stories surrounding this archaeological site, considered by many as one of the most fascinating in the country. We will continue flying over the pelican, flamingo, hands, or the tree, among many others, and to finish, we will see those located in Palpa, such as the traveler or the royal family. You will be fascinated! After approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes of flying over Nasca, we will land at the meeting point and provide you with a flight certificate.

Next, we will head for about an hour to the Ica vineyard, where we will learn about the local wine planting and harvesting and enjoy some tastings. Following that, we will have a delicious local lunch. Finally, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis for some adrenaline-pumping fun aboard a buggy and practice sandboarding in the Ica desert. We will also enjoy a beautiful, magical, and unforgettable sunset. Finally, we will return to Lima with much joy and 100% energy.
