Ica : Full day at Los Perdidos Canyon

The Cañón de los Perdidos, a desert paradise located in the province of Ica, has captured attention since its discovery in 2011 by the Association for Tourism and Cultural Promotion of Ocucaje. Despite its relative newness, this place attracts a significant number of visitors each year in search of adventure and tranquility.

-We will start by picking you up at your hotel in Ica between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. and then head south.

-We will make a stop at the main square of Okukača, where you will have the opportunity to admire the well-known monuments of sharks, peasants and fighting cocks. You will also have free time to enjoy breakfast.

-In addition, you will have the option to visit the Okuka Museum of Paleontology on your own.

-Afterwards, we will head towards the Lost Canyon. During the trip, we will be able to contemplate beautiful natural landscapes, such as the Callango or Delfin Apirales.

-We will make a stop at the Pampa de las Piedras, where we will discover unique geological forms, such as toads, horse heads, turtles or chihuahuas. You will also have the opportunity to capture images of the emblematic Magic Eye.

-We will continue our journey to explore the Los Perdidos Canyon nature reserve.

-After receiving a brief explanation about the place, you will have the opportunity to take pictures outside the canyon. In addition, we will take a walk along the mouth of the canyon, where the Icas and Seko rivers converge, and we will be able to spot various specimens of native animals such as owls, chickens or lizards.

-We will conclude our excursion with a visit to the swimming pool to take pictures and finally we will start our return to Ica, estimating to arrive between 15:00 and 16:00 hours.
