From Paracas | Excursion to Ica and Huacachina

Visit the city of Ica and be amazed by the legend of its lagoon and its main attractions. In addition, you will visit the Huacachina oasis, where you can practice sports such as sandboarding.
Itinerary

This tour starts with the pick up from your hotel in the center of Paracas at 11:30 a.m. and then board the bus for a one and a half hour trip to the city of Ica.

We will start this tour of the city of Ica with a visit to a local winery. Here we will learn about the production of wine and the famous Peruvian Pisco. In addition, you will be able to taste some of their products.

Then we will enjoy a guided tour of Ica to get to know the atmosphere of its streets, its main monuments and most emblematic places. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the church of Señor de Luren and the Regional Museum of Ica, where we will learn about the evolution of the different cultures of the region: Paracas, Nasca, Wari, Ica Chincha and Inca.

The next stop will be at the Huacachina oasis, one of the most spectacular places in the department of Ica. Here you can admire its beautiful lagoon surrounded by dunes and desert landscapes and of course you will have the opportunity to hear the famous legend of this lagoon.

Afterwards, we will leave an hour of free time for you to enjoy a delicious lunch on your own.

After having enjoyed a wonderful day, we will start our way back to your hotel in Paracas, where we will arrive at 6:00 p.m. (if you wish we can also drop you off in Ica, please contact your agent to coordinate).
