Waqra Pucara offers a quieter, more authentic experience, with breathtaking views and a rich history to discover.
This is one of the tours in Cusco that will take you to unforgettable places. We will start at 4:30 in the morning, when our transportation will pick you up at your hotel. Then, we will head to the district of Acomayo (Pitumarca), where you will enjoy a delicious Andean breakfast.

Afterwards, we will continue our tour bordering the majestic Pomacanchi Lagoon, surrounded by meadows and cultivated fields. This impressive lagoon is one of the largest in the region.

We will then head to the starting point of the hike, which lasts approximately 3 hours. During the hike, you will be able to observe the local flora and fauna, as well as enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and rock formations. Finally, we will arrive at the Waqra Pukara fortress around noon.

After a short rest, we will start the tour of the archaeological center of Waqra Pukara with our tour guide, who will provide you with all the detailed information.
You will have free time to explore the site and take pictures.

At the end of the visit to the fortress, we will return to the village of Pitumarca to enjoy lunch. Afterwards, we will board our transportation to return to Cusco.
Our tour ends in the center of Cusco at approximately 5:00 pm.
