Description
The archaeological site of Waqrapukara combines beautiful high Andean landscapes with impressive architecture.
We will start picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 05:00 am.
We will then head south of Cusco, to the village of Sangarara where we will have our first stop.
At this point, we will stop for a delicious breakfast.
Then we will continue along a zigzagging road until we reach the car park, from where we will start our hike.
Afterwards we will have a walk of 2 hours approximately until we arrive at the archaeological complex of Waqrapukara, when we arrive we will have enough time to take pictures and to visit a great part of the place.
After this visit we will have a box lunch.
Then we will return by the same route to the car park to return to the city of Cusco (approximate time of arrival 18:00 hrs).
