Embark on a 2-day adventure-packed tour of the Lake Titicaca area. Discover some of the highlights of Puno, Uros, Taquile, Cusco and the surrounding areas, stopping off with plenty of time to soak up the local atmosphere and enjoy the main attractions. Spend the night in Puno and savour the tasty local cuisine along the way. Day 1: Cusco to Puno with Stops Pickup from your hotel is at 06:30 to go to the tourist bus station in Puno. During the journey, enjoy several exciting stops at different tourist centres and attractions. Start with a 35-minute tour of the amazing Andahuaylillas Temple, the Sistine Chapel of America. Later, explore the Raqchi archaeological park, before arriving in Sicuani, where you can sit down to enjoy a buffet lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Paso de la Raya, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Explore the Pukara Lithic Museum. When you arrive in Puno, you will be met by a local guide to escort you to your hotel. Day 2: Puno, Uros, Taquile, Cusco Day 2 will start early with a hotel pickup at 07:15 and transfer to the port of Puno. Board the boat and head towards the territory of the Uros, where you will take part in a cultural demonstration that will allow you to discover their way of life. Visit the Taquile Islands and get to know the local culture. You will also take a beautiful hike full of photo opportunities. In the afternoon you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant with a menu of fried trout and quinoa soup where you will be able to see the life of the Taquileños. You will return to Puno in the afternoon, around 16:00. You will then return to the hotel waiting room, before heading out to dinner on your own. At 21:15, the transport will arrive to take you to the bus station, where you will depart at 22:00. At 05:00 you will arrive at Cusco station, where the tour will end. Here you can find taxis to take you to your hotel.
