A trekking adventure where you will enjoy nature, you will be able to observe immense canyons and mountains that surround the place.
Day 1: Cusco - Sangarara - Pitumarca - Waqrapukara
We will go through your hotel to pick you up at 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 am. to go to the South of Cusco.
During the course of the tour we will pass through small towns, and after traveling 2 hours we will arrive at a Pomacanchi Lagoon where we will have time to take pictures.
Continuing the tour we will arrive at Sangarara where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast and then continue to the community of Pitumarka.
There we will begin our walk to the archaeological center of Waqrapukara, on the way we will be able to observe a great variety of flora and fauna (condors, llamas, alpacas, huallatas, Andean hummingbirds, vicuñas, wild horses, cattle, etc.). We will share pleasant moments with Nature and with the Andean man until we reach Waqrapukara where we will prepare the camp and dinner.
Day 2: Waqrapukara - Cusco
After appreciating the wonderful sunrise, we will have a delicious breakfast.
Later we will prepare to visit the majesty of Waqrapukara, in this place we will observe its enigmatic construction among them: enclosure of the moon and sun, enclosure of Wiracocha, towers, stands, main palace, double and triple jamb portals, its bastions, buildings and the majesty of the Apurimac canyon and the rock formations in their natural state.
After having visited all the wonder of Waqrapukara, we will return to the starting point where the delicious lunch will be waiting for us, after eating we will start walking to reach the Sangarara district and thus return to the city of Cusco, we will be arriving at 6: 30 p.m. aprox.
