PAINT YOUR OWN PUCARÁ BULL WITH OUR PAINTING WORKSHOP

Enjoy a delightful activity that will immerse you in the traditional knowledge of painting the emblematic Pucará bulls. All materials are included, and you can also enjoy a drink of your choice.
This charming activity is available at any time between 09:00 and 15:00 hrs. You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and taken to the workshop where we will make the traditional bulls of Pucará, important in the Andean culture for being guardians of the homes and you can observe them on the roofs of the traditional houses. These pieces represent the Andean duality and the balance between energies.

Upon arrival at the workshop, a professional artist will welcome us and provide detailed information about the process of creating these Cusco ceramic pieces. Then, we will begin the activity of painting our own Pucará bulls.
You will be able to choose the colors you want and learn about the techniques and meanings of the strokes applied by the artisans. With the artist's guidance and following the proper processes, you will complete your own Pucará bull. During the activity, you will be able to enjoy a drink of your choice, tasting among a variety of Peruvian drinks to stay hydrated.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel, accompanied by your Pucará bull that you made yourself, it will undoubtedly be a memorable and rewarding experience.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
