We will begin our tour in the city of Cusco, and on our way, we will pass through the charming town of Maras, where we will have a chance to see its beautiful colonial-style Portadas and stroll through its picturesque streets.
Our next stop will be the Moray experimental agricultural terraces, a group of circular agricultural terraces built on natural hills that are up to 150 m deep. These terraces were an Inca agricultural laboratory, and they have irrigation channels that create micro-climates. The upper part of the terraces has an average annual temperature that varies up to 15ºC from the lower parts.
Our final destination is the stunning Salineras de Maras, which has 2000 salt wells. These wells are still exploited by local families and are a true sight to behold. After visiting the Salineras de Maras, we will return to the city of Cusco, where our tourist transport will drop you off at the center of the city. If you have opted for a private service, we will drop you off at your hotel.
Our tour will end at around 2:00 p.m., leaving you with the rest of the day to explore the city.
