Machu Picchu, the iconic "Lost City of the Incas", is one of the most emblematic and captivating destinations in the world that you cannot miss on your visit to the city of Cusco.
Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at approximately 04:00 hrs. (the schedule may depend on the availability of trains) and you will take a trip by car through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Ollantaytambo train station (trip of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes).

Once at the Ollantaytambo station you will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (town of Machupicchu). On the train trip you will enjoy extraordinary landscapes, mountains, rivers and streams, in addition to appreciating the flora and fauna of this area of Cusco. When you arrive at Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency guide will be waiting to give you all the instructions. Then you will arrive at the bus station, where you will board the bus that takes a zigzagging route towards the mountain where the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu is located (30-minute bus trip).

When you get off the bus you must go to the entrance of Machupicchu, where you will present your ticket and identification document, from this point the guided excursion will begin. You will visit this impressive city
Inca together with our guide who will provide you with all the information and history of Machupicchu and for approximately 2 hours you will tour the citadel according to the routes outlined in circuit 3 or 4.

At the appropriate time you must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where if you wish you will enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the thermomedicinal baths located to the north of the town (Lunch and entrance fee not included).

At the agreed time you will take your train back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, where the agency staff will be waiting for you to transport you to the city of Cusco. (arrival time to Cusco depends on train availability at the time of your reservation).

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
