Day 1 Cusco | Chacabamba - Wiñaywayna - Aguas Calientes
Pick up from the hotel from 4:00 to 4:15 am and transfer to Ollantaytambo, and we will take the train to kilometer 104 and from there we will start our hike along the Inca trail visiting archaeological sites, as well as the various wild orchids along the way of this beautiful short Inca trail; we will have a picnic lunch. After our lunch we will continue along the Short Inca trail to Machu Picchu, entering through the main gate to the citadel of Machu Picchu (sun gate) we will have unique and incredible views of the sunset, and we will leave Machu Picchu and go down by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night after a good dinner.
Day 2 | Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco
We will leave Aguas Calientes according to our bus schedule to Machu Picchu, and we will have a guided tour with our guide for 2:30 to 3 hours inside the historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu, then we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes. We will have time for lunch and wait for our train back to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cusco.
