Description
Meet the second most visited colorful mountain of Cusco, with a 2 hour hike. You can enjoy 3 viewpoints where you can rest and also know the forest of stones that is at the top.
The Cerro Palcoyo is a set of 3 colorful mountains that are located in the Andes mountain range, it is located at an altitude of 4900 meters. The hike to reach this attraction is easier compared to its twin sister Vinicunca, also in this circuit you can enjoy the forest of stones where you can observe an incredible mountain scenery.
-The excursion begins with the pick up at the hotel (near or inside the Historic Center) between 4:00 - 5:00 am.
-We will travel to Cusipata where we will stop for breakfast, continue to a parking lot and start the hike.
-The hike is 2 hours at a moderate pace and with breaks, upon arrival we will enjoy a brief guided tour and we will also have time to explore part of the area, we can visit the forest of stones.
-After the guided tour, we will return to the vehicle returning to Cusipata where we will enjoy lunch.
-Return to the city of Cusco, we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas.
-Arrival time 6:00 p.m. approximately.
