Description
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Vinicunca region near the famous Ausangate. We will hike through small traditional Andean villages a see the local people with their colorful dresses.
Hotel/hostels are picked up at 03:00 am and 03:30 am for transfer to Rainbow Mountain. Departure from Cusco city takes approximately 1.5 hours to get to Cusipata. At 05:00am – 06:00am we will arrival and Breakfast in the district of Cusipata. At 06:00 am – 07:15 am start the uphill trek to Rainbow Mountain. Arrive to Rainbow Mountain between at 09:00am – 09:30am. Spend some time at the top of the mountain taking in the view of the beautiful surrounding scenery.
As an optional route from 9:30 am to 10:00 am you can do the visit the Red Valley (does not include entrance). Then, we will return to the starting point where transportation awaits us (10:00am – 11:30am). Return in transport to Cusipata district. At 12:30pm – 1:30pm we will go to a restaurant for lunch before hitting the road back to Cusco. Finally, takes about 1.5 hours (1:30pm – 3:00pm) to get back to Plaza Regocijo in Cusco 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas.

Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
