The adventure begins with a pick-up at your accommodation in the historic center of Cusco. You will travel by tourist bus to the train station in Ollantaytambo (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). You will board the train to Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes). Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo), you will receive assistance to take the bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu (approximately 25 minutes). Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu (approximately 2 hours). After the tour, you will be assisted to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes (approximately 25 minutes). You will have free time to have lunch on your own at one of the typical restaurants in the area. At the indicated time, you should be at the Aguas Calientes train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo station (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes). Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, the bus will be waiting to take you back to your accommodation in Cusco (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes).

* Machu Picchu is regulated by the Peruvian government, so visitors can only stay in the citadel during the guided tour.
* Please note that, according to the rules, you will not be able to re-enter the citadel.
* Due to new regulations on the purchase of tickets for Machu Picchu, all passengers are informed that if they cancel their reservation, the percentage corresponding to the entrance ticket cannot be reimbursed. In the event that the tour entrance (reserved route) is sold out, the operator will offer alternative routes at additional cost or a full refund of the tour.
* If scheduled trains are sold out, the operator will inform of alternative schedules at additional cost.
When should I book?

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
