From Cusco: 3-day tour to the Peruvian Amazon with sleeper bus and lodge

Experience the Amazonian adventure on an exciting multi-day trip from Cusco. Interact with wildlife, kayak and canoe, zipline and hike through the jungle. All included.
Start with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco's historic center at 8:00 p.m. Rest for the night on a sleeper bus with 160-degree reclining seats. Arrive in Puerto Maldonado early in the morning.

Day 1: Arrival and Adventure
We'll pick you up at the bus terminal and transfer you to our cozy lodge, where a refreshing welcome with seasonal fruit drinks will await you. Settle into your bungalow and get ready for an introductory jungle hike, where you'll discover the variety of plants, insects, and birds of our conservation forest. And for the more adventurous, an exciting hanging bridge (zip line) awaits you! In the afternoon, we'll cruise down the river in search of wild animals and watch the beautiful sunset. At dusk, we'll look for caimans and capybaras.

Day 2: Tambopata National Reserve and Sandoval Lake
Sunrise will break and we'll cruise downriver toward the Tambopata National Reserve (1 hour). We will walk 3km and observe insects, monkeys and giant spiders. Then, we will arrive at Sandoval Lake, where we will paddle slowly and discover the wildlife of the lake, including piranhas, birds, butterflies, mammals, monkeys and the Giant River Otter. We will return to the lodge in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxing campfire.

Day 3: Sunrise and Wildlife
We will wake up early (04:30 am) and go out to observe the parrot and macaw clay lick. After breakfast, we will walk through the conservation forest in search of chestnuts (Brazil nuts), snakes, sloths and wildlife. Then, we will return to the lodge to pack up and leave.
Board the sleeper bus at 8:00 pm and travel overnight on the sleeper bus and arrive back at your hotel in Cusco early in the morning of the following day (7:30 am).

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
