This 2-day excursion to Machu Picchu will show you the archaeological jewel of the Andes, one of the most visited corners of the planet.
Day 1: Cusco - Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up at the meeting point in Cusco at the time you choose and from there we will take a two-hour bus ride to the Ollantaytambo train station. Upon arrival, we will board the railway and embark on an hour and a half trip entering the Andes mountain range and crossing a landscape that will be difficult to forget. Mountains that seem to touch the sky, rivers that merge with the green of the hills... Impressive!

When we arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes we will take you to the hotel where we will stay that night. The rest of the afternoon you will have free time to walk around this hidden place.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Cusco
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will board a bus to experience the star moment of the excursion: Machu Picchu. Who has not ever dreamed of admiring the ancient Inca citadel?

Once there, we will take a two and a half hour guided tour through the alleys and passageways of one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Afterwards, you will have another two hours of free time to explore the area or climb the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountains on your own. There are spectacular views from the top!

Next, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes and there you will have time to eat on your own and continue exploring the small Andean town. We will finish the excursion by returning by train to Ollantaytambo and from there by bus to Cusco.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
