Description
South of the city of Cusco, you will visit different archaeological and religious complexes.
The tour will begin with your pick up from your lodging where you are staying. Our tour of the South Valley begins at 8:00 am. As a first point we will visit the archaeological site of Tipon known for its water sources and its perfectly planned hydraulic system. Our second point is Pikillacta which is an archaeological complex belonging to the Wari culture. To culminate we will visit one of the most beautiful samples of Colonial Art, we will visit the Sistine Chapel of America, which stands out for its gilded altars, murals and paintings of baroque style and anonymous paintings of the Cusco school.
Finally we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 3:00 pm.
