Day 1: Humantay Lake
Start your adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Drive to Mollepata and Soraypampa, where you will begin your hike to Humantay Lake. Pass the archeological ruins of Tarawasi and the banks of the Apurimac River before reaching the lake.
Enjoy a packed lunch by the lake and take in the views of the surrounding glaciers and Andean peaks. Afterward, hike back to Sorayampa and return to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 2: Sacred Valley and Moray
Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and drive to Chinchero. Visit the house of a textile artisan and see his original works. Learn about his techniques and creative process.
Visit the Inca archaeological center of the town, built at the end of the 15th century, and see the town's traditional church. Continue to Moray, a site used as an agricultural research center and laboratory.
On your way to Ollantaytambo, stop at a viewpoint to enjoy one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before arriving at Ollantaytambo, an architectural complex of the ancient Inca Empire.
Day 3: Machu Picchu
Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to Ollantaytambo station. Take a 90-minute train ride to Aguas Calientes, the Machu Picchu Pueblo. Have lunch before taking the Consettur bus to the citadel.
Take a guided tour of the citadel and learn about its history and culture. Afterward, have some free time to explore the citadel on your own. Return to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
