Enjoy the impressive landscapes that surround the Huaypo Lagoon while driving ATVs and learn about the salt extraction process in the Maras salt mines.
The tour begins when our transportation picks you up from your hotel in the first shift (6:30 am). In the second shift the meeting point will be at the regocijo square (12:50 pm). We will begin one hour trip to the community of Cruz Pata where our atv base camp is located. In Cruzpata, receive the training and also practice atvs driving for 15 minutes and then the adventure will officially begin. Drive for 40 minutes until you reach the impressive Huaypo lake, a place full of charm and magic. Upon arriving at the lagoon you will have approximately 20 minutes to enjoy the tranquility of the place. Later, enjoy the adrenaline for 30 minutes while you continue driving the atvs to our Cruz Pata base camp. Next, get on the bus for a 30-minute trip to the Maras Salt Mines where you will learn about the salt extraction process and also take photos at the site. During the tour you will also see the impressive mountains of Verónica and Chicón. Finally return to Cusco where our transportation will drop you off next to the main square at 2:30 pm in the mornig shift or at 6:30 pm in the afternoon sift.

We have a pick-up service from all hotels located in the historic center of Cusco, only in the morning shift. In the afternoon shift the meeting point will be at the Plazoleta Regocijo.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
