Day 1: Begin your rural adventure with a 3-hour drive to Upis, a town offering stunning views of the Ausangate mountain. Meet your trekking team and hike to Upis camp, stopping to visit Wayna Ausangate Lake.
Day 2: Start the day with a hot drink before a 2.5-hour walk to Arapa pass, offering views of the Ausangate glacier and the chance to see condors. Descend to Yanacocha Lagoon and Hatun Pucacocha for lunch, then camp at Hatun Pukaqocha.
Day 3: Enjoy a hot herbal tea before hiking uphill for 2 hours to Puka pass, with breathtaking views of glaciers and valleys. Descend to Anantapata for lunch and continue to Warmisaya for panoramic views. Camp at Surineqocha lagoon.
Day 4: After an early breakfast, visit Rainbow Mountain to admire the colorful valley at dawn. Explore the area with your guide before trekking to the Red Valley for stunning views. Descend through Andean communities and llamas before returning to Cusco by bus.
