From Arequipa || 2-day excursion to Chachani volcano

Day 1:
This tour starts with pick up from your hotel in Arequipa at 7:30 am. At 10:00 a.m. we will arrive at Pampa Cañahuas, which is located at the top of the Chachani volcano, at this point we will receive all the recommendations of our guide to start with the tour.

We will begin our journey for approximately two hours, we will arrive at our base camp located 5200 m.a.s.l. at this point we will install our tents and then we will have lunch with soup or canned food.
At nightfall we will have some tea and we will go to rest, to regain strength for tomorrow.

Day 2:
This day will start very early we will wake up at 3:00 am, we will get ready to continue our adventure and check if the conditions are good to continue. We will have breakfast before starting the hike to warm up. Then we will climb the summit of the Chachani volcano.

We will arrive approximately at the top of Chachani at 5:00 am. Once at this point we will be able to rest and contemplate the incredible view of the surrounding volcanoes: the Coropuna, the snowy peaks of Ampato, the Hualca Hualca, the active Sabancaya, the Misti and the Ubinas.

After contemplating, we will descend towards the base camp. We will make several stops to rest, once we reach the starting point, the car will be waiting for us to take us back to Arequipa, we will arrive approximately at 19:00 hours, where our tour will conclude.

This two-day tour includes one night's lodging and breakfast in tents.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
