On the way to Pillones waterfall: Excursion from Arequipa

The Pillones waterfalls offer a beautiful spectacle with its waterfalls, surrounded by lush vegetation and unique rock formations, creating a picturesque environment perfect for exploring and enjoying nature.

Itinerary
-We start with hotel pick-up between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and drive to the Pillones Falls.

-On the way, we will make stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi, where you can enjoy breakfast on your own.

-We will arrive at the starting point at 10:30 a.m., for a downhill hike of approximately one hour to the waterfalls.

-Before arriving at the Pillones Waterfalls, we will see rocks sculpted by erosion over time. We will navigate through these intriguing formations until we reach the waterfall.

-Once in front of the falls, you will be able to capture impressive photographs posing in front of the camera imitating the various shapes of the surrounding rocks from prehistoric animals to curious faces, as well as admire the rich regional flora and fauna.

-Do you know the Imata Stone Forest? After exploring the waterfalls, we will enter this peculiar enclave to discover its unique natural environment.

-Afterwards, we will stop in the village of Imata so you can enjoy lunch on your own.

-Finally we will return to Arequipa around 5:00 pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
