From Arequipa: Ascent of the impressive Misti Volcano in 2D

ITINERARY:

- DAY 1: AREQUIPA - MISTI VOLCANO:
• Hotel pick-up: The excursion begins with pick-up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., followed by a transfer in a 4x4 vehicle.
• Route to Misti Volcano: We head to Misti Volcano by the Chiguata route, ascending to 3,300 meters above sea level after approximately two hours of travel.
• Beginning of the Adventure: We start our exciting hike up the slope of the volcano, which will take us about 6 hours, during which we will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the place.
• Arrival to the Camp: We will arrive to the camp at the end of the day, where we will have dinner and rest to prepare for the next day.

- DAY 2: MISTI VOLCANO - AREQUIPA
• Energetic Breakfast: We start the second day with a revitalizing breakfast that includes tortillas, toast and hot drinks.
• Ascent to the Summit: After breakfast, we start the ascent to the summit of Misti Volcano, located at 5,825 meters above sea level.
• Summit exploration: Once at the summit, we will have enough time to take spectacular pictures and enjoy the panoramic views from the Misti crater.
• Return to Arequipa: We descend back to 3,300 meters where the 4x4 vehicle will be waiting for us to return to Arequipa, approximately at 14:00 hours.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
