AREQUIPA: COLCA CANYON 2 DAYS AND NIGHT

DAY 1: AREQUIPA/CHIVAY:

7:30am to 8.00am The mobility passes by the different hotels to start our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the road to Yura, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas.

In the bofedales de tocra we will be able to appreciate a variety of migratory birds, among which are the flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes, which is also the highest area of the road (4800 m.a.s.l.) from where we will be able to appreciate a great part of the western mountain range.

13:30 to 14:00 Approximately, arrival to Chivay.
Buffet lunch (at the passenger's expense) Installation in the hotel.
16:00pm approx we will enjoy the thermal baths in La Calera whose thermal medicinal waters range between 35º to 38º Celsius degrees of temperature in the pools.
20:00 Dinner accompanied by a folkloric show.

DAY 2: CHIVAY / CRUZ DEL CONDOR / CHIVAY / AREQUIPA

06:00am Breakfast at the hotel.
06:30am We will go to the viewpoint of the cross of the condor, strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On the way back we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as in the viewpoints of choquetico and antahuilque, from where we will observe the impressive mountain range of the valley,
12.00pm Buffet lunch in Chivay (at the passenger's expense).
13:00 Return to the city of Arequipa.
17:00pm to 17:30pm. Arrival to the city of Arequipa.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
