Come with us and enjoy this great excursion to the lagoon of salinas, you can enjoy a spectacle seeing its reflection on the ground thanks to the mirror effect that is generated in this place.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 and 6:30 am to begin our journey to the Salinas Lagoon, located on the edge of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserves.
On the way, we will stop in Chiguat, a picturesque local village, where we will enjoy a continental breakfast including juice, yerba mate or coffee, cereal and toast.
Afterwards, we will head out into nature to explore the flora and fauna of the Arequipa region around the Salinas Lagoon.
During the tour, we will contemplate the Andean forests, formed by queñuales, small trees and bushes typical of the area.
Then, we will arrive at the Salinas Lagoon. If the lagoon is dry, we will see a snowy white landscape. If there is water, we can approach the shore to observe the salt accumulations and explore the surroundings, including the Lausanne volcano and thermal baths.
At the end of the hike, we will enjoy some free time for lunch before returning to Arequipa. We will be back at your respective hotels around 16:30

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
