3-day trek to the Colca Canyon from Arequipa ending in Puno

Day 1:

Arequipa-Colca Canyon-Pueblo de San Juan de Chuccho

Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint:

03:00h Pick up from your hotel in Arequipa. Departure to the Colca Canyon towards Chivay where we will have breakfast then we go to the Cruz del Cóndor to see the majestic flight of the condors, then we go to the town of Cabanaconde by car and then begin walking towards the Colca Canyon, arrival to San Juan. from Chuccho after 3.5 hours of free time to visit the local people and see the local terraces, then have dinner and spend the night at a local family's house. Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, Cabanaconde Peru This is a very visited viewpoint in the Colca Canyon where we see the flight of the condor and the depths of the Colca.

San Juan de Chuccho:

The Colca Canyon is one of the deepest canyons in the world. We spent the night here. We will spend the night at a local family home in basic dormitories.

Day 2:

San Juan de Chuccho-Sangalle (oasis)

Sangalle:

After breakfast we begin the walk to Sangalle (oasis). We will visit other towns such as Cosñirhua, Malata and we will arrive at Sangalle (oasis) for 3 hours. We will have lunch and enjoy the rejuvenating pools that are there, free afternoon, dinner and accommodation.

Day 3:

Oasis of Sangalle-Cabanaconde-Chivay–Puno

Cabanaconde:

We begin the walk at 05:00 a.m. to the town of Cabanaconde, this walk lasts approximately 3 hours (ascent). Upon arriving at Cabanaconde we will have breakfast. Later our transportation back to Chivay, visit the towns, viewpoints and thermal baths then we headed to visit Chivay there we stopped for lunch. Later we will arrive at the city of Puno arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Chacapi Thermal Baths:

We will visit the hot springs, there we have 40 minutes free to enjoy them. The entrance price is 5 USD.

Chivay:

Lunch stop -Our tour guide will transfer you to another tourist bus to head towards the city of Puno.

Pampas Apachetas from Patapampa:

We will stop at the highest point to see the mountain and the volcanoes.

Toccra Pampa:

Place to watch Alpacas and vicuñas in their natural area.

Patahuasi:
