Would you like to enjoy one of the most impressive views? On this hike around the Wilcacocha lagoon, to contemplate the imposing geography of the Andes in all its splendor.
At the agreed time we will meet in the main square of Huaraz and head towards the Santa Cruz bridge to begin our exciting adventure. Once there, we will embark on a two-hour hike through the Cordillera Negra, where we will have the opportunity to spot eagles, falcons and the famous totora plant, historically used for the construction of rafts. Upon reaching the Wilcacocha lagoon, we will marvel at the extraordinary view of the Cordillera Blanca and its imposing snow-capped peaks such as Huascarán, Copa, Vallunaraju or Churup. We will be able to walk along the shore of the lake, breathing fresh air at an altitude of 3,745 m. Don't forget your cameras to capture this natural spectacle! After an hour to have lunch and enjoy this beautiful corner of Peru, we will begin the descent and return by car to Huaraz. The estimated time of arrival at the starting point will be between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
